Key Responsibilities:
- Perform market research, develop, negotiate, and close deals
- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationships into sales opportunities
- Develop new markets (regional, industry verticals etc)
- Retain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
- Create tailor-made professional and effective proposals and pitches
- Attend industry functions, such as events and conferences to source qualified leads improve the Company’s visibility in the industry
- Using your knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Essential Experience/ Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in business development/sales
- Experience in digital marketing and/or travel a big plus
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the creation and execution of professional proposals and presentations
- Ability to create clear, logical and customized quotations
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and build networks across the industry
- Ability to quickly develop new commercial relationships and earn trust
- Multicultural work experience preferred, especially in China
- Excellent English language skills required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
